This is a glazing process I've used a lot n recent years: dark slip, wax resist lines, chun blue over top. Although it's a glazing "standard," it still asks the kiln to make the final decision as to how the piece will turn out. In this piece the lines are widely spaced, the blue more open and dominant. I painted the lines, applied the glaze, and let the firing soften the edges.

Wheel-thrown dark stoneware with brown slip, wax resist, and chun blue glaze, fired to cone 10. 3.25" tall, 10–12 oz capacity. Food safe, dishwasher safe. Ships carefully wrapped within 5–7 days.
