Dunhuang Ceramic Residency 2016

All of the work below was made during my time as a ceramic sculptor in residence in the Gansu province, China. The culmination of the residency was a group exhibition entitled "Post Painted-Pottery Culture" at Lanzhou City University. All of the work was made using local Lanzhou clay, which was also the primary ingredient in most of the glazes.
